Doktor Jon announces the official launch on June 1st 2004,
of a new Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) information website;
with the completion of phase one of this longterm project,
now offering visitors around 350 pages of relevant copy.

For the first time, detailed information on the use and application
of video monitoring technology, is freely available at:-

The site is presented in a number of detailed sections, providing
a general explanatory overview of all CCTV equipment, detailed
technical engineering information, and a range of specific resources
for researchers, specialists and interested parties alike.

Journalists may take advantage of the 'Press Club' section, with their
own unique priority e-mail contact address.
Law enforcement issues are covered in the 'Coppers Corner' section, and
the subject of CCTV and 'Civil Liberties' is also explored in some detail.

There are sections on the 'History of CCTV', CCTV 'System Design',
'News & Views', 'Covert Surveillance' and more besides.

Doktor Jon has taken 18 months to bring this project to the internet,
and with its official launch, will now concentrate on further developing
the scope and content of this important and unique resource.
